A disgruntled employee locked SF out
A serious issue which is always threatening companies and rides on the back of many business manager’s minds. Apparently and disgruntled employee for the city of San Francisco decided to lock out everyone. Then the police got hopeful when he gave them false passwords and after that they arrested him on Sunday. I hope most companies recognize that they need to secure their systems after a person leaves by stopping there access to sensitive information. His bail is set at $5 Million. Even after being arrested as he has refused to turn over any valid passwords. The police have made slight headway in the fact that they have found limited access and are lucky that the system is still running at this point and they are still trying to regain full access. The system manages most of the cities important things like payroll management, confidential documents and the bookings for jail inmates.
